Where can I get involved with the Obama campaign?
by admin on Mar.19, 2010, under Elections
I’m in the North Florida area. I sent an email to someone at the country Democrat website but haven’t received a response yet. This is a Republican stronghold so I suspect the Democratic party may not be as active. What’s going on?
Seriously. Are the signs available? Where can I get together with a bunch of Obama people and go out and put up signs and ****?

I am in the reddest of red states North Dakota. I wrote a letter to Obama’s National Campaign office as well as my state office and with in 24 hours I had a phone call and they are now opening an office in my town.
This is the 1st time any party as opened an office in my town.

Go to, then you can go to the state tab which will have a side box with how to sign up for local events and the location of the local campaign office.
This is the one that gets to Florida:
You can buy signs and such at the store portion of the site but they are backordered. Your local campaign office might have some.
I live in a pretty much GOP redneck stronghold myself but there is a strong Obama following. You just have to get out and look a bit.

Move to Houston TX. Other offices might not have a picture of Che Guevara on the wall.
