Well, you could put an executable file in the code for the text, but that would be really mean and despicable. Why worry if it’s deleted? Just measure the positive responses. Marketers regularly look at 10% or less response rates and feel happy. The only thing I can think of that comes close is asking for a receipt on the email, but that won’t differentiate if someone deletes or reads the emailed newsletter.
