Is it still possible for Hillary to win the Democratic nomination, or is her campaign mortally wounded?
by admin on Feb.04, 2010, under Elections
I am not a Clinton fan, however, I have never underestimated her resolve or determination to become President at all costs. Even though she is currently behind in the delegate count and the popular vote among democrat voters she still controls the machinery of the Democrat Party. Until recently I believed she would use this leverage to win the nomination. With her recent gaff over her trip to Bosnia and now several leaders in the Democrat party calling for her to end her campaign for the sake of party unity, is her campaign doomed, or will she continue to fight to the bitter end regardless of the cost?

I usually agree with your article content, but in this case I am sorry to say that I do not share your views.

Well its this way. If they do not count Florida and Michigan and let her win fairly. McCain is your next president. Plain and Simple.

My bet she will continue to fight on, even though there is no chance (about 5%) of winning.
Hopefully after she loses NC and it’s a wash between pa. delegates and the super delegates step in, she will end it.

Ten more primaries left and superdelegates waiting in the wings. Plus there is a chance that the other guy will ***** up again. She’ s got plenty of chances left.

of course she will win 44% of democrats who were previously going to vote for obama wont anymore thanks to our freind jeremiah wright ( sarcasm).

Her campaign is over. The only way she could possibly get the nomination is if Obama’s campaign implodes. I don’t see that happening since the most damaging thing that’s happened to his campaign was the Pastor Wright story and he seemed to weather that storm.

Don’t you see Barack as determined at all costs? He is willing to disenfranchise voters for his own ambition.

Wake Up and stop watching TV.
It distorts REALITY.
Hillary CLointon is ahead in popular and delegates once the count MI and FL.
She has won EVERY major state a Dem needs to win except IL due to Oprah.
She has the momentum and won the last two MAJOR states TX & OH.
Obama and media released the Wright tapes now to distract fromt he fact that he has lost his NEWNESS and people are voting on issues.
He is trying to pull and OJ on race and a BUSH on FL and MI to even stay in this race.
People of America are behind Clinton and media and nobody else can stop us now.
President Hillary Clinton is our next president.
Thank you Madam President for stand up for all of us!
We are behind you all the way to the white house.
God “BLESS” America
We will have democracy in USA not mediacrocy!!!

It’s up to the super delegates to decide who gets it and they’re obliged to vote however they want, according to the RULES. Remember the rules? Obama supporters are big on them when it comes to Michigan and Florida — not so big when it comes to the supers.

she will stay in, to the detriment of her party and to the nation. Sadly, she is putting her political ambition ahead of what is best for her country. Technically, yes, she could get the nomination, but at the risk of destroying the democratic party. Obama has earned the nomination; hillary has not, regardless of what she says/thinks.
