If you are conducting a promotional campaign on the web using a landing page, is it best to hide the page?
by admin on Sep.30, 2009, under Other - Internet
Is it best to hide the landing page so visits to it can be attributed to a specific promotional campaign material, such as a unique url used in a brochure, or is it better to allow the landing page to be accessible in the web site navigation so anyone, including search engine spiders, can get to it? Or does it matter? What might be some important considerations, pros and cons, for each scenario?
report/study on email campaign mistakes?
by admin on Sep.28, 2009, under Other - Internet
I am in need a study or report that details the type of mistake and percentage of mistakes in eMail campaigns. The report should also show the success rate without mistakes as well.
Some mistakes would be, sending wrong email to wrong targets or sending wrong subject and sending to correct target with wrong FROM field.
What is a novice-friendly website service that allows someone to generate a dynamic website on the fly?
by admin on Sep.12, 2009, under Other - Internet
This is for a campaign website for the Nov ‘06 election. Ideally, we’d like as simple a webmaster interface as possibe. We’re looking to have an image gallery, email contacts through the URL, and pages that dynamically publish when new pages are added. For instance, when an article is published in the “news” section, the title would automatically update on the front page. Same for blog entries. The goal is to set it up with semi-professional help, and then let a novice operate day-to-day.
Need a FREE Email Marketing company. The best one, do you know of any?
by admin on Aug.27, 2009, under Other - Internet
Okay, I am looking for a Email Marketing company. It has to be free. I know its pretty hard to get that, but free is better than paid. Uh, I want it to have HTML. And I wanna run multiple campaigns, 2 of them. It shouldn’t have a limit on the messages, but if it does, thats okay.
Just send me some good links to good companys.
All is appreciated it.
Is it OK to email those who send us Spam?
by admin on Aug.26, 2009, under Other - Internet
Even with two firewalls, two antivirus programs, AWC I still get spam. So I started replying to them advertising my e-commerce businesses and then putting their address in a special folder called “Spammed.” Considering they emailed me first and I replied am I braking any laws or is what I am doing spamming?
Interesting enough two people have ask me to remove their address from my list. Is that not funny?
I now include them in all my email campaigns and have sold product to one of them. So is this type of marketing OK?
Has Google admitted that Google Web Accelerator has caused false clicks? Or paid money to anyone for this?
by admin on Aug.19, 2009, under Other - Internet
Apparently the Google Web Accelerator generates click on behalf of its users. This causes false clicks on websites, which ruins the statistics for advertising campaigns run on sites, since these sites might not have taken these false clicks out of the statistics.
So when paying for a click campaign with say 100,000 clicks then you might get several thousand invalid clicks from GWA.
How can I make a “campaign” through internet?

Why is there a Campaigns to kill web browser?
by admin on Jul.12, 2009, under Other - Internet
There seems to be a campaigns to kill the web browser that are not Internet Explorer 7 .
Most 95 % of web will work but people tell me that 5% and growing of web sites are blocking user to they make a upgrade.
Is this some kinda of kickback? I mean really if I’m web master I may make a web site for Internet Explorer 7 ,Firefox 3 ,Safari 3 and if you do not have it the web site may not look that good on other platforms but to block you from that web site.
What is next block windows 200 and Me to everyone gets vista or XP? There must be some kickback with the web site and microsoft. And yet there are ways of getting around the site compatibility issue.
What is the average click-to-purchase rate for click throughs from google for software?
by admin on Jun.30, 2009, under Other - Internet
I am wondering if there are any industry averages for click-to-purchase rates for selling software on the Internet if you are paying for click throughs from Google. DoubleClick says that the click-to-purchase rates for email campaigns is about 4.2%. What would it be for AdWords?
